Legal
These are the terms of the agreement between you and Numen Lumen. They are written to be read — not buried. Please take a few minutes with them before you register or purchase.
By accessing num3nlum3n.com, members.num3nlum3n.com, or purchasing any Numen Lumen product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms specific to the program you enroll in. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("you," "participant," "member") and Numen Lumen LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("Numen Lumen," "we," "us").
This is what we offer — and what each offering is.
Numen Lumen LLC offers the following services through num3nlum3n.com and members.num3nlum3n.com:
All live events may be delivered in-person or via video conference, as communicated at the time of registration. Specific dates, formats, and any applicable prerequisite requirements will be disclosed on the relevant program page prior to purchase.
Payment is processed at the moment of enrollment — simply and securely.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service, available at stripe.com/legal. Numen Lumen does not store payment card numbers on its own servers.
All prices are stated and charged in U.S. dollars (USD).
| Hoʻoponopono 2-Hour Online Training | $197 |
| Opua Initiation Workshop | $800 |
| Huna 3-Day Workshop | $2,800 |
| Emotional Clearing Certification | $2,800 |
| NLP Practitioner Training | $4,400 |
| Spiral Practitioner Training (13-Week Hybrid) | $5,300 |
| Huna Mastery Membership | $296/month |
Prices are subject to change. The price displayed at the time of your completed purchase is the price you pay for that enrollment.
If a payment fails, access to the corresponding service will be suspended until payment is resolved. Membership access lapses if the monthly charge is unsuccessful and cannot be collected within 7 days.
Different programs carry different terms — each is spelled out below.
Cancelled by Numen Lumen. If we cancel a workshop for any reason, you receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We will notify you as promptly as possible.
Cancelled by Participant.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The date of receipt determines which window applies.
Membership is month-to-month. You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected] or through your member portal settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial months. You retain access through the last day of the period for which you have paid.
A 14-day refund window applies — clearly defined.
Participants who withdraw after commencement and wish to re-enroll in a future cohort may apply a one-time deferral, subject to availability and approval by Numen Lumen.
A multi-week cohort arc — refund terms reflect the sequenced cohort nature of the training.
No payment is collected. No refund applies.
Numen Lumen certifications are credentials of completion — not licenses.
Certifications issued by Numen Lumen LLC — including the NLP Practitioner certificate and the Emotional Clearing certificate — represent the completion of a training curriculum designed and administered by Numen Lumen LLC. They are:
Participants are solely responsible for understanding the scope of practice laws in their jurisdiction before offering services to others using the skills learned in these trainings.
This is education and personal-development work — not clinical care.
The workshops, courses, and trainings offered by Numen Lumen LLC are educational and personal-development programs. They are not a form of medical treatment, psychological therapy, mental health counseling, or psychiatric care.
Nothing offered by Numen Lumen — including but not limited to Hoʻoponopono practice, Huna teachings, NLP techniques, or Emotional Clearing processes — is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical illness, mental health condition, or psychological disorder.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, psychiatric symptoms, or a medical condition, please consult a licensed medical or mental health professional before, during, and after participating in any Numen Lumen program. Participation in our programs is not a substitute for professional care.
By enrolling, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and with full awareness of this distinction.
These teachings carry a living lineage — and participants are asked to carry them accordingly.
The Hoʻoponopono and Huna teachings transmitted through Numen Lumen draw from the Bray-James Hawaiian lineage — a living body of wisdom held and transmitted across generations with care and intention.
By enrolling in any program that includes these teachings, you agree to:
This is not a restriction on your personal practice. It is an agreement to carry these teachings with the same respect with which they were offered to you.
What we hold in workshop — and what we ask you to hold, too.
By registering for any live workshop, training, or group session, you agree to:
Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with courtesy and dignity. Disruptive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory behavior is grounds for immediate removal without refund.
What is shared in the container of a workshop stays in the container. You agree not to disclose personal information, stories, or disclosures shared by fellow participants outside the session without their explicit permission.
You may not record any live session — audio, video, or screenshot — without prior written permission from Numen Lumen LLC. This applies to all formats, including in-person and video conference delivery.
Numen Lumen reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this Code of Conduct. No refund will be issued in such cases.
The work is ours. Your participation is yours.
All content delivered through Numen Lumen programs — including workshop recordings (where provided), written materials, slides, workbooks, audio files, course modules, and the Numen Lumen name, logo, and site design — is the proprietary intellectual property of Numen Lumen LLC, protected under U.S. copyright law.
Any unauthorized use is a breach of these Terms and may give rise to legal action.
Words you share may travel further.
If you provide a testimonial, review, written feedback, photo, or other content to Numen Lumen — whether by email, through a form, via social media tag, or in any other way — you grant Numen Lumen LLC a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, and display that content in any medium for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes, without further compensation or approval.
We will not use your testimonial in a misleading way. We may attribute it by first name and location (e.g., "Sarah, Virginia") unless you request otherwise. To withdraw a testimonial already published, contact [email protected] and we will make commercially reasonable efforts to remove it.
Your account is yours — which means you are responsible for it.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on members.num3nlum3n.com.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may not share your account access with any other person. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update that information as necessary.
Numen Lumen reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for more than 24 consecutive months (with notice). Upon termination for cause, no refund is owed.
Standard protections — stated plainly.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
Numen Lumen LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury — arising out of or related to your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Numen Lumen in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
Nothing in this limitation of liability excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, including liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
You acknowledge that Numen Lumen would not offer its services on the terms provided without this limitation of liability, and that this limitation is an essential element of the basis of the bargain between us.
You agree to hold us harmless for claims arising from your own conduct.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Numen Lumen LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
Virginia law governs. Alexandria, Virginia is home.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent any dispute proceeds to court (see Section 15), you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Alexandria, Virginia.
We'd rather talk first. Then, if needed, mediate. Then arbitrate.
Before initiating any formal proceeding, the party asserting a dispute must provide written notice to the other party describing the claim and requested relief (email to [email protected] is sufficient). The parties agree to negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days from receipt of that notice.
If informal resolution fails, either party may request non-binding mediation administered by a mutually agreed mediator in Alexandria, Virginia (or by video conference). Each party bears its own costs; mediator fees are split equally.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute, the matter shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Alexandria, Virginia under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) — specifically the Consumer Arbitration Rules if you are a consumer. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction without first exhausting informal or mediation steps, where necessary to prevent irreparable harm (e.g., intellectual property infringement).
All disputes must be brought in an individual capacity. You waive the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action relating to Numen Lumen services.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We will not change the rules without telling you.
Numen Lumen reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of our services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your membership or enrollment before the effective date.
These Terms, together with the Numen Lumen Privacy Policy and any program-specific terms disclosed at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and Numen Lumen LLC with respect to your use of our services. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings on the same subject.
